Funtastical is a day filled with fun and games! It was held at Markham Fairgrounds on May 11th, 2019. There were vendors, food trucks, face painting, auctions, raffles, loot bags, and more! All proceeds were donated to SickKids Hospital, with this year’s event specifically targeted towards Children’s Cancer Research.
The food was an event-goers dream, ranging from pizza, burritos, burgers, grilled cheese, funnel cakes, and more! JUNO Winner and family favourite, Fred Penner performed good old classics and songs from his 12 prolific Children’s Albums. CBC Kids Thrillusionists team master magicians were there to blow the audience’s minds! There were also performances by Marlowe & the MiX, Girl Pow-R, Dan the Music Man, DuffleBag Theatre, and Second Nature.
As a proud sponsor of the 1st annual Funtastical, DRMG is happy that it was a huge success. The event raised over $93 000! Thank you to all those who donated and came to this event!
